You can access Tata Harrier EV in three ways.

2) NFC enabled card
3) Mobile application.
The company has given a round shape to the key to Tata Harrier EV. A features have been added to this key like lock, unlock, boot open, headlight, switch on car, parking etc. Another feature of Tata Harrier EV key is digital card which means a digital card which is NFC enabled like a credit card which you can keep in your pocket. You can access this car completely from your phone also.

 

Interior

The interior layout of the Tata Harrier EV is also similar to its ICE-powered counterpart. However, the EV gets a new white and grey cabin theme that is similar to the smaller Curve EV and the Nexon EV.

 Apart from this, it gets a 4-spoke steering wheel with Tata’s illuminated logo and a 10.25-inch digital driver display. However, the infotainment system has been updated to a larger 14.5-inch touchscreen and features Samsung’s QLED display that supports

Dolby Atmos surround sound system. There is also a 45w Type A charging port.
The center console gets a drive selector stalk, twin cupholders, buttons for the electronic parking brake, a rotary selector to choose 6 different terrain modes (including Normal, Mud Ruts, Rock Crawl, Sand, Snow/Grass and a Custom mode) and a center armrest.

The seats are finished in grey and white leatherette that looks premium and gives the EV an upmarket feel. Reclining option is given for both the front seats. Driver seat is electrically adjustable.

 Staring can be adjusted a little bit as per your requirement.
This Tata Harrier Ev has ambient light on doors and dashboard which enhances the beauty of the car.
Talking about the back seats, three people can sit comfortably. You get two headrests at the back. There are two cup holders on the hand rest in the rear center. For safety, there are 3 seat belts of 3.3 inches.

For a 6 ft person, kneeroom, headroom and thigh support are quite good in the rear seat.
There are 2 charging points of 65w at the rear. There is ac vent on the door side for the back passengers. Back passengers get the option of sunblind.
There is no option of reclining seat for the rear seat.

  • For driver and passenger safety, the new Harrier EV has seven airbags, EPB with auto hold function, TPMS, all-wheel disc brakes, ESP with i-VBAC to improve traction and braking stability, traction control, hill descent control, roll over mitigation, reverse parking camera, and a sensor-based reverse parking assist as standard cross all variants. 
  • Other notable safety features include a comprehensive Level 2 ADAS suite, knee airbag, transparent mode (540-degree Surround View), Acoustic Vehicle Alert System (AVAS), hill-hold assist and electronic IRVM.

 

Tata Harrier EV Battery Pack And Specifications

  • The Tata Harrier EV features 65kWh or 75kWh battery packs that power single or dual electric motors.
  • The dual motor version features Quad Wheel Drive (QWD), making it the first All-Wheel Drive (AWD) 
  • The 75kWh battery pack develops 390bhp and 504Nm, capable of launching it from 0-100 in just 6.3 seconds and reaching a top speed of 180 kmph.
  • On a single charge, the range of the 75 kWh QWD variant is up to 622 km (ARAI certified) or 480-505 km (C75 real-world conditions).
  • The range of the 75 kWh RWD variant is said to be at a respectable 627 km.
  • Meanwhile, the smaller 65kWh battery pack version produces an output of 235bhp.
  • The 120kWh DC fast charger can provide a range of up to 250 km with just 15 minutes of charging, while the 20%-80% takes ~25 minutes

 

Harrier EV Technology

  • Harrier EV comes packed with smart and intuitive features, a 14.53-inch Samsung Neo QLED infotainment touchscreen (a first in the mid-size SUV segment) and a 12.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster.
